希伯来书5:4-6
4这大祭司的尊荣，没有人自取，惟要蒙神所召，像亚伦一样。5如此，基督也不是自取荣耀作大祭司，乃是在乎向他说，你是我的儿子，我今日生你。的那一位。6就如经上又有一处说，你是照着麦基洗德的等次永远为祭司。
4And no one can become a high priest simply because he wants such an honor. He must be called by God for this work, just as Aaron was. 5That is why Christ did not honor himself by assuming he could become High Priest. No, he was chosen by God, who said to him,“You are my Son.Today I have become your Father.#5:5 Or Today I reveal you as my Son. Ps 2:7.” 6And in another passage God said to him,“You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”#5:6 Ps 110:4.
