以弗所书4:7-16
7我们各人蒙恩，都是照基督所量给各人的恩赐。8所以经上说，他升上高天的时候，掳掠了仇敌，将各样的恩赐赏给人。9（既说升上，岂不是先降在地下吗？10那降下的，就是远升诸天之上要充满万有的。）11他所赐的有使徒，有先知，有传福音的，有牧师和教师。12为要成全圣徒，各尽其职，建立基督的身体。13直等到我们众人在真道上同归于一，认识神的儿子，得以长大成人，满有基督长成的身量。14使我们不再作小孩子，中了人的诡计，和欺骗的法术，被一切异教之风摇动，飘来飘去，就随从各样的异端。15惟用爱心说诚实话，凡事长进，连于元首基督。16全身都靠他联络得合式，百节各按各职，照着各体的功用，彼此相助，便叫身体渐渐增长，在爱中建立自己。
7However, he has given each one of us a special gift#4:7 Greek a grace. through the generosity of Christ. 8That is why the Scriptures say,“When he ascended to the heights,he led a crowd of captivesand gave gifts to his people.”#4:8 Ps 68:18. 9Notice that it says “he ascended.” This clearly means that Christ also descended to our lowly world.#4:9 Some manuscripts read to the lower parts of the earth. 10And the same one who descended is the one who ascended higher than all the heavens, so that he might fill the entire universe with himself. 11Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. 14Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. 15Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
