彼得前书1:13-17
13所以要约束你们的心（原文作束上你们心中的腰），谨慎自守，专心盼望耶稣基督显现的时候所带来给你们的恩。14你们既作顺命的儿女，就不要效法从前蒙昧无知的时候，那放纵私欲的样子。15那召你们的既是圣洁，你们在一切所行的事上也要圣洁。16因为经上记着说，你们要圣洁，因为我是圣洁的。17你们既称那不偏待人，按各人行为审判人的主为父，就当存敬畏的心，度你们在世寄居的日子。
13So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. 14So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. 15But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. 16For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”#1:16 Lev 11:44-45; 19:2; 20:7. 17And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time here as “temporary residents.”
