提多书1:7-11
7监督既是神的管家，必须无可指责，不任性，不暴躁，不因酒滋事，不打人，不贪无义之财，8乐意接待远人，好善，庄重，公平，圣洁，自持。9坚守所教真实的道理，就能将纯正的教训劝化人。又能把争辩的人驳倒了。10因为有许多人不服约束，说虚空话，欺哄人。那奉割礼的，更是这样。11这些人的口总要堵住。他们因贪不义之财，将不该教导的教导人，败坏人的全家。
7A church leader#1:7a Or An overseer, or A bishop. is a manager of God’s household, so he must live a blameless life. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered; he must not be a heavy drinker,#1:7b Greek must not drink too much wine. violent, or dishonest with money. 8Rather, he must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must love what is good. He must live wisely and be just. He must live a devout and disciplined life. 9He must have a strong belief in the trustworthy message he was taught; then he will be able to encourage others with wholesome teaching and show those who oppose it where they are wrong. 10For there are many rebellious people who engage in useless talk and deceive others. This is especially true of those who insist on circumcision for salvation. 11They must be silenced, because they are turning whole families away from the truth by their false teaching. And they do it only for money.
